We went fingerprinting on Monday for our new vis*.  In spite of the fact that they just took our photos and fingerprints in August…  We left at around 8:00 am and came home at around 12:30.  We only stopped three times, once to get Dunkin’ Donuts and pee, once to get some snacks and drinks for the ride home, and once to see if there were any packages for us at the post office.  It’s a loooonngg ride to Jayapura and back!

I’ve booked my flight and plan to go to Singapore next week Tuesday.  Thankfully, a friend is accompanying me.

The tree cutting down has stalled a bit.  The last and largest of the branches need to be cut down yet.  There is however, an electrical cable crossing our backyard and of course, this cable carries electricity for the entire community in our area…  There’s been discussion of getting the electric company to come and remove the cable so they don’t have to worry about hitting it.  Of course, there’s the roof of the house and the fence and my garden…  I don’t want to watch it happening…

Christiaan’s fm was returned and working but unfortunately fell on the ground on the first day using it again.  It is still functional but the case needs to be replaced.  Thankfully, I’m going to Singapore!

The MAF soccer team.  They’ve won another game but also lost a game quite badly.  Turned out the other team had recruited players who were not employees of the company.  So there’ s protest.  We’ll see what happens.

This is the airstrip in Puldamat where the tire blew out on the plane.  That’s the plane now moved to the bottom of the runway, waiting to be repaired.
