As you can see from the photo above, Mikah needed a cast.  We emailed her x-ray off to a Dr. in Singapore and he said that her arm needed to be casted.  The main reason is because her thumb needs to be immobilized so the fracture can heal properly.  The expat Dr. here was able to put the cast on at the school clinic.  It’s a neat kind of cast that has two parts, one on top of her arm and one underneath and they are held together with an Ace bandage.  So she can take it off if necessary. Whew…  It’s funny because the Dr. in Singapore said that by looking at the x-ray he could see that Mikah was a teenager with a few years of growth left…  she’s already 5ft 9inches tall…

Don’t you just dig that t-shirt in the photo above?  Most people here can’t read English so they have no clue what they are wearing…  It really never gets old, the hilarious t-shirts and such they have here.  Like the guys hat.  He’s a nice man who works as a gardener up at the school.  He thought it was funny that I wanted to take a photo of his hat…
