An early Christmas Eve…

Last Sunday we had an early Christmas Eve service at our house.  We had the service early because a number of the members of our church are planning to go to their home island for Christmas.

We set up chairs in the living room and I put the chicken and beef on sate sticks.  The kids from the church came a bit early so they could do some fun crafts.  While they were crafting, I was barbequeing the sate.  After the service we all had a yummy meal together.  After that Liza gave all the kids a gift and the church presented one of our widows (the other one wasn’t there) with a gift basket which moved her to tears.  After that everyone helped clean up and then we all went outside and admired the post-eclipse moon.
