Bits and Bites…

Finally!  I’ve actually managed to log into my WordPress account!  Yippee!!

So Sept 23 was Brynne’s 7th birthday and it was also Sunday.  So we had our church over for cake and pop after the service.  We live just a little walk up the road from the church so it’s quite convenient.  The church has no washroom, no running water and is quite dusty so not the best venue for cake and pop…  I think it went over pretty well.

The following Saturday we had her birthday party with her friends.  She wanted a water party.  We decorated cupcakes and then went outside for water balloon and slip’n slide fun.

Our new Kodiak aircraft were released by customs which is great news.  Now they just need undergo a certificate of airworthiness.  That’s when Hugo’ll have to wear his white shirt to work.  Whenever gov’t officials come to the hangar Hugo has to wear a white shirt because in this country management wears white shirts…

In the crate that arrived from the States, were a couple pods for our Kodiaks.  Up until now they haven’t had pods on them.

I’ve been substitute teaching for one of the teachers who’s off getting some medical stuff done.  I’m doing Grade 6 and 7 Bible and Grade 6 Social Studies.  It’s been a fun experience for the most part.  As I have a son in each class it’s been neat to see them “in action”.

Exciting stuff for you folks!! Hope all the ‘white shirt’ events go over well so you can get your Kodiak into the air. btw, what are pods? Congratulations on Brynne’s birthday too — looks like the party was a blast.
