Apparently I can’t do slideshows anymore…  too bad…

So the above is sadly out of order but I’ll do my best to explain.

Recently one of our pilots brought a family into a village.  This was a very special visit.  There’s been a husband and wife working in this village for 20 years now and they are set to retire.  They have one daughter and she is married with children and hasn’t been to the village in 10 years.  She and her husband and children were brought in by our pilot and the entire village came out to see them!  There was a lot of dancing and singing at this special occasion.

Last week one of our national workers was baptized in a river that empties into the ocean.  G works closely with Hugo and is eagerly learning English and working hard to get his license as a mechanic.  We were priviledged to be there to support him in his committment to God and His church.  The two elders on either side of G are also MAF employees who work with Hugo.  Good guys!  The kids had a great time playing in the river.  It goes deep rather quickly allowing the boys to make some spectacular jumps.  When our on-board life rafts expire we get rid of them and G snapped one up and they all had a great time playing with it in the river and ocean.

Okay..scrolling through the water photos made me laugh as it looks like the boys were doing dives & cannonballs during the baptism! (-: Love your new family photos. You look younger the older you get! (-:

I love the pictures – Dana and Jake were my friends back in our HIS days, and I just love that they took their kiddos back.
