Coronation Day!

In honour of our Dutch heritage, we gathered together with some of the other Dutchies in town here to celebrate the crowning of the new king.  Fishing for candy turned out to be harder than it looked!  We were able to watch the coronation over YouTube.

It was a gezellige time!

  1. Love it, it looks so cool! Here in Cape Town is a bar, owned by a Dutch guy and every Queensday all the dutch expats, volunteers and even tourists gather there to enjoy bitterballen, dutch music and being Dutch in general…

    I love all the orange stuff! You sure are a patriotic bunch! Oranje boven, oranje boven, and all that! (I remember my Dad singing that from time to time}
    Have a blessed month in the Lord’s service.
