Lots to catch up on!
Dec 1 Marc turned 10! We’re so thankful for our youngest son who is quite laid back and rarely has a fight with anyone! Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since he was born here in Papua. We had his party a couple weeks later with some of his buddies.
At the end of each sports season it’s tradition to have a game of parents vs kids. This year was no different. So Hugo played against Aidan and Christiaan’s teams and I played against Mikah’s team. Fun!
After the games we had to quickly shower and zip over to MAF where they were having the annual Christmas party. There were the usual speeches, lighting of the candles, door prizes, singing, gifts for the kids and a meal at the end. It’s always fun to see everyone dressed up and together with their families.
The boys also participated in a middle school band concert. It was fun to see Christiaan on the guitar and Aidan on the trumpet.
A couple weeks before Christmas a few of us had lunch with some of the national staff ladies to celebrate Dian’s birthday. She is one of our faithful flight followers and a lovely girl. I made her some fun cupcakes.
