Life goes on…

As life always does, it keeps on going and our recent trip to Holland is becoming a fond memory.

This past week Mikah and Christiaan had their first away game of the season.  We drove to a nearby town to play.  The court was challenging as it was in the sun, the concrete was uneven and one of the nets had a crooked rim.  But the kids did great and both teams won their games.

On Thursday we had one of our quarterly half days of prayer.  We started at 11:00 gathering in our meeting room.  We opened with some singing, accompanied by Steve on guitar and Arleon on drum.  Then we listened to a devotional by J, a missionary who lives here in town.  Following that we had the opportunity to honour Pak Mir for his 15 years of faithful service with MAF.  He lives on our hill and has I believe 6 children.  I often see him with his wheelbarrow getting food for his pigs or working in his garden.  Such a hard working great man!  For lunch the office ladies joined some of us at one of our homes and we had fun talking together.  Later on in the afternoon we joined together to pray for each other.

We decided it was time to do a new family photo…  See slideshow…

Our friends Y and V had asked if I could do their family photos.  Aren’t they the cutest little family!  Of course, R and R and Brynne got in on the action as well…
